​Many thanks to Joyce for inviting me to share about schizophrenia and youth mental health issues on Fairchild Radio program. After watching the movie Papa, besides my earlier discussion on family therapy and parent-child relationships, it’s also important to understand the symptoms of schizophrenia. This term can be broken down into thought, referring to disorganized thinking, and perception, which relates to sensory experiences. When there is an imbalance in both thinking and perception, it indicates a dysregulation in the brain’s neurotransmitter receptors.
