Insurance Coverage

No doctor's referral is necessary. Counselling and psychotherapy provided by a registered Social worker/registered psychotherapist are not covered under OHIP but are covered by many extended health benefit plans. Majority of private, company, and student health insurance are covered. Please contact your benefit providers cover psychotherapy, social work and marriage and family therapy to inquire if you are eligible for reimbursement. All our therapists are registered professionals. 

Payment

Payment is expected to be completed via e-transfer to karenlifetherapy@gmail.com 48 hours prior to your session. Your appointment will be confirmed once we receive your payment. A receipt with the registration number will be provided within a week of your payment.

Cancellation Policy

If you are not able to attend a scheduled appointment, please contact me at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule, otherwise you will be charged for the full session fee.

Reports

Reports (e.g., assessment, discharge, summary etc.) are available upon request. The cost will vary depending on the type of report requested. Administrative fees may be applied to requests for copies of files, reports, preparation, and translation or other information pertaining to a file.
